Sadaqah Jariyah refers to ongoing charity whose benefit continues. When considering a project, ask how it creates and maintains that benefit. A one-off donation can have lasting effects, but a website should not guarantee a particular spiritual reward or lifelong clinical outcome.

## Think about the continuing benefit

Examples commonly discussed include resources or services that remain useful over time. The intention, use and durability of the benefit matter. Ask how a project is maintained and who can use it, rather than judging it only by its name.

## Medical care and lasting effects

Helping someone access medical care may benefit their daily life and family over time. That does not justify a promise that every procedure permanently restores sight or that every patient will have the same outcome. Clinical care is individual.
