World Aid Network describes funding cancer care for patients who cannot afford it through local partners. Donations contribute to care according to programme arrangements and clinical need. A small fixed donation should not be presented as guaranteeing an entire treatment course or a particular outcome.

## Why treatment funding needs detail

Cancer care is not one standard procedure with one universal price. The type of treatment, investigations, medicines and duration depend on the patient’s clinical plan. A contribution may support part of that care rather than purchase a complete course.

## Read the current programme

Visit [World Aid Network’s cancer programme](https://worldaidnetwork.org/cancer) for current scope, delivery and giving information. Check what your donation will fund and whether the organisation can honour a particular country or purpose restriction.

## Zakat and medical assistance

For a Zakat payment, ask how recipient eligibility is established and how hospital payments satisfy the relevant ownership or agency requirements. Do not assume that every medical expense or general hospital fund is automatically eligible.

## A useful donor record

Keep the programme description, payment designation and receipt. Ask how the organisation reports allocation and deals with unused restricted funds. Programme updates can explain the work without promising outcomes that no clinician can guarantee.
